About me

Cooking Doesn’t Have to Be Work
Cooking should be an enjoyable experience, a chance to unwind, get creative, and connect with others. We often view cooking as a "to-do" or a "task," but I believe it should be the opposite. It should be fun, relaxing, and an opportunity to experiment. One of the things I love most about cooking is that it’s my way of expressing creativity and love for the people in my life.

Honoring Our Mother
While food has always been a way for our family to bond, it’s even more meaningful now that our mother has passed away. Her love for cooking was something we all inherited. Today, we continue to make the dishes she cooked for us. Whether it's to enjoy one of mom’s staple home-cooked meals or try something new, I love having my younger brothers over for family meals.

Cooking with Charlie
My husband wasn’t really into cooking when we met. But then, out of nowhere, he took an interest in it about two years ago. At first, I’d encourage him no matter how things turned out (even if they weren’t exactly great!). Over time, though, he got the hang of it and now he’s got a few signature dishes that he loves to make—and honestly, they’re pretty fantastic! I will share a few with you here.

I hope that as you explore my recipes, you’ll find dishes that speak to you, encourage you to try something new, and remind you that cooking can be a beautiful way to connect with the people you love. Speaking of people I love, I am dedicating this website to my second mom, Katherine.
