My chicken cutlets recipe is actually my stepdad's, a dish he would make for us growing up. As I began to take more of an interest in cooking, he showed me how he made them, and I was surprised by how simple the recipe was—just a few basic ingredients—but the flavors were incredible. We’d usually pair the cutlets with the angel hair pasta recipe I've shared on another post, creating the perfect meal that we all loved.

Ingredients:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cutlets
1 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
6 tbsp. of butter
1-2 tbsp. cooking oil (oil of choice)
Instructions:
Mix the breadcrumbs with cumin, salt and pepper and spread out on a large plate.
Lightly coat the chicken cutlets in oil, massaging with hands.
In 3 batches, add the cutlets to the bread crumb mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Set coated cutlets aside on a new plate.
In 3 batches, cook the cutlets in a frying pan. For each batch, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and a drizzle of cooking oil on medium heat. Cook the cutlets for 4-6 minutes, ensuring their internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove the chicken to a paper towel lined serving dish and enjoy!
